Now is a good time to list your home.
The real estate market typically picks up in the Spring with more buyers and sellers entering the real estate market. As the weather starts to improve, more home buyers start coming out to look at homes. Some homeowners decide to wait to list their homes in the spring when more buyers are out looking. The one thing many homeowners don’t seem to take into account is while the spring will bring more buyers to the market for a home, sellers will also be faced with a much greater number of homes on the market increasing their competition. The most popular months to list a home are April, May and June.
As we enter Q1 of 2017, the economy, current market and historically low mortgage rates equals a perfect time to buy a home. Rates are predicted to rise as we head deeper into 2017, so buying a home sooner than later might be best for homebuyers.
