2015’s Best & Worst Cities for California Families
If you’re looking for a place to raise a family, a new study found that three Sacramento cities are among the best in California! One Sacramento city is not only among the best, but has been named the best time and time again, Folsom.
Folsom made the #1 spot in a study by WalletHub. WalletHub compared 240 California cities across 22 key metrics, focusing on family living, education, health, safety, affordability, and socioeconomic environment.
Folsom’s close neighbor El Dorado Hills came in at (#6).
Folsom’s low poverty level and high median income (adjusted for cost of living), and #2 ranking for most affordable housing earned them the top spot.
Their findings ranked these California cities the best for families:
- San Ramon
- El Dorado Hills
- Aliso Viejo
- Palo Alto
